In a suburban area of Fuzhou, China, Bolun created a 4-meter by 4-meter living area and lived in it with his then 1.5-year-old daughter. He kept teaching her to understand the boundaries of their living space every time she attempted to step outside. The duration of the performance was determined by the moment she stopped trying to leave, which lasted 24.5 hours.
